TeamArcBring in your tryout list
In TeamArc, open your tryout and tap Add players (or paste a list when you make the tryout). You can paste rows copied from a spreadsheet or registration export, or paste a Google Sheets link. TeamArc shows you what it found before anything is added.
What TeamArc keeps
Only five things: the player’s name, birth year, a family member’s name, a family email and a bib number. Every other column (phone, address, medical notes, school, shirt size, gender) is left out and never saved. A full date of birth is reduced to the year.

A header row helps. Columns can be in any order, and extra columns are fine.

If a row has two family emails (for example Parent 1 and Parent 2), TeamArc keeps the first one, and the name that goes with it (Parent 1’s name with Parent 1’s email). A player’s own email column is never used as the family email, and a “Family Name” or “Last Name” column is read as the player’s surname, never the family member.
The family member’s name is used to greet them in an offer letter (“Hi Dana,”). Only coaches see it, and you can add or fix it on the player later.
No header? One player per line still works: Maya Lindqvist, 2014, parent@example.com or #14 Maya Lindqvist.

From a Google Sheet
- In the sheet, tap Share.
- Under General access, choose Anyone with the link and set the role to Viewer.
- Tap Copy link, then paste the link into TeamArc’s list box.
TeamArc reads the tab the link points to, once, when you tap it. It doesn’t keep the link or check the sheet again. When you’re done, you can set the sheet back to Restricted. If you’d rather not share the sheet, copy the rows and paste them instead.
Limits
Up to 200 players per list, and sheets up to 1 MB. Rows already on the tryout (the same name, or a bib that’s taken) are skipped, and the preview tells you which ones and why.
